Me – Yes, Yes, Yes.
I pay for ChatGPT Plus for $20/mo and it defaults me to the 4o model as of this writing 5/22/25. I do have custom GPTs setup. I do have custom projects setup. I also use a Chrome plugin for changing my omni search to ChatGPT so when I enter anything in the ‘search bar’ aka ‘address bar’ in Google Chrome, it automatically starts a new chat in the 4o model.
Have you noticed that ChatGPT is getting more personality in the responses?
I was working through a PowerShell script to convert xlsx to csv and confirm that the original xlsx is not overwritten.
I asked:
“does this change the file or create a copy? I want to create a copy”
ChatGPT said:
Great question, Jason! Both methods I previously provided create a copy of the original .xlsx file in .csv format without modifying the original Excel file. So, your precious master files remain untouched.
Notice the last line, “…your precious master files remain untouched.”
This is not the only example and I’ve noticed this for several weeks.
I did modify my ChatGPT in the ‘Customize ChatGPT’ settings…

A: funny but factual, ok to say that I am wrong and not be so agreeable.
Sometimes I just think I want the answer without the attitude. I also think this about humans so I guess AI and Humans aren’t do dissimilar after all?
